Piedmont, S.C.- The Golden Hurricanes will make a return trip to the Upper State Championship game on Thanksgiving weekend after a 39-7 win over Woodruff. The Hurricane defense limited the Woodruff offense to 148 total yards of offense, including just 37 yards rushing on 26 carries. The Hurricanes broke the game open in the second quarter with 3 straight scores, and took a 25-0 lead into halftime. Wren will travel to Daniel next Friday for the Upper State Championship, ticket information will be announced on Sunday afternoon.
